Dr. ABEGUNDE Titilope Adebusola (NEE OGUNJIRIN) had National Diploma (1997) in Food Technology from Lagos State Polytechnic Ikorodu. B.Sc in Food Science and Technology from Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State. M.Sc and Ph.D. in Food Microbiology & Biotechnology from Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2008 and 2021 respectively.
Her working experiences were spread around the SevenāUp bottling company and Nigeria Breweries PLC, Iganmu, Lagos as Industrial Training (IT) student at different times. She had her National Youth Service at the Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company, Kaduna State (2002 ā 2003) and taught as a secondary school teacher at Prince International School Monatan, Ibadan, Oyo State.Ā She joined the services of Lagos State Polytechnic on 13th October, 2009 as a Lecturer III.
Her keen interest in research earned her āA Small Grant for theses and Dissertation by Association of African University for her M.Sc degreeā
Dr. Abegunde Titilope is a researcher with a strong focus on Food Microbiology & Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Processing and Product Development, using underutilized food crops available. She is a Lecturer in the Biotechnology & Food Technology Department, College of Engineering & Technology of Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, Lagos State (formerly known as Lagos State Polytechnic).Ā
As a researcher who loves to collaborate with other researchers across the globe, She has about nineteen (19) journal papers published up to date. And about twenty four (24) conference proceedings in different institutional, international and online journals.
She is a member of Nigeria Institute of Food Science & Technology (NIFST), Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN) and Society for Applied Microbiology (SFAM).
Presently, She is the Acting Head of Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology, College of Engineering and Technology of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Dr. (Mrs) T.A Abegunde is married and the marriage is blessed with children. Ā
