Olufawo Henry Siji was born on 31th august 1963 at Ondo, in Ondo State Nigeria. I attended both primary and secondary education in the state. He had his secondary education at Stella Maris College Okitipupa in 1982. He attended Ogun State Polytechnic in 1983for his A level. In 1990 he obtained his bachelor degree (Bsc) in actuarial science from the University of Lagos State.

He obtains Master in Business Administration from University of Ado-Ekiti in 2009 and master of science in actuarial science in 2019.  He is currently pursuing in Mphil/ Phd in Actuarial Science at University of Lagos. In july 1992 he joined the services of Lagos State Polytechnic (Now Lagos State of Science and Technology, Ikorodu) as Lecturer III.

In 1998 he was made the coordinator of ND and HND (Insurance) and also a member of the examination committee. He became the Head of Department Insurance between 2003 to2005. He became a member of the Charted Insurance Institute of Nigeria in the year 2010.

In the year 2021 he was appointed as the assistance director school of part-time studies (regular). He is currently the head of department actuarial science in Lagos State University of Science and Technology.
